I vowed not to go bouclé again, but caved in when I saw these shorts in Topshop. Then I saw the jumper, found the only un-clicked one in my size, and convinced myself that it was clearly meant to be. Accordingly, I'm now a further 60-odd quid into my overdraft. Excellent!

Excuse the I'm-about-to-cry face. I really wasn't.

All That Glitters (Sheds)

I am completely and utterly besotted with these leggings!

Unfortunately, they quite literally shed glitter. It has ended up everywhere. Whoever sat in the seat after me in the Shikara restaurant on Friday night will have definitely went home with a glittery arse. Soz bbz.

Spring Flashback

Shamefacedly, since buying this skirt full price in March, I've only worn it about three times. It now loiters about the Topshop sale rail and probably has since I wore it for the first time. As per.

Because of a cruel weekly budget, and unless I start shitting money, I won't be shopping for quite a while, so I'm trying to make full use out of everything in my wardrobe. Consequently, the skirt's made a reappearance, and I really quite like it paired with this oversized grey top and Converse. They make it a lot more casual and less let's-go-for-tea-and-a-scone. Or so I hope anyhow.

Topshop 'Beguiled' Lipstick

 

Lipstick Topshop (Beguiled)

With Topshop lipstick seeming to be a firm favourite on the blogosphere I picked up 'Beguiled', this wine-y (honestly, even if the photo doesn't seem so) one when the 20% student discount was on last week. Up until now my only other lipstick experience has been with Bobbi Brown, and in comparison I was quite disappointed.

The Topshop lippy is really quite soft, which made the application a weeee bit messy, taking a fair bit of going round the edges with a cosmetic bud. As you can see on the photo, the colour consistency isn't exactly marvellous either, and it's prone to smudging.

Hopefully a lip liner will sort the smudging out, but after the hype I feel a bit deflated. Then again, it retails at £8, a whole £10 less than the Bobbi Brown ones, so I suppose I shouldn't really have had that high expectations. If anything, it does actually taste quite nice, so at least I could eat it?

Let me know if you've had any really good lipsticks from anywhere; I need to branch out a bit!

Admittedly, Lana Del Rey takes the biscuit wearing these H&M leggings by a considerable hike.  Nonetheless, having bought them last week in Liverpool, I took a quick couple of snaps of them on with my most favouritest-ever studded clutch.

Also, I may very well have bought the matching peplum top, before taking it back in fear of overkill!!

Jumper Topshop

I did it! I couldn't help myself. I pondered and pondered as I flicked on and off topshop.com... then, it was suddenly out of stock! I didn't know what to do with myself. So, I legged it down the hill and into L1 where I nabbed one of the very last ones left on the rail!

Now, I know it was foolish, and I also know that £69.99 is not an acceptable price to pay when on a tight student budget (even if I only paid £63.99 with student discount), BUT it's reaaaaaally nice! It also goes with sooooooo so much!
 

And now, I think I might want one of the J.W. Anderson at Topshop dresses too! Oops.
